Course T&Cs

These terms are between Crown Aesthetics Training Academy Ltd the ‘Delegate’.  The ‘Delegate’ is classed as ‘you’ medical professional confirmed and undertaking any of the courses.

In order to secure a place CATA requires full payment in advance, finance options are available through the website via PayL8R (www.payL8r.com).

Once you have made your course booking with CATA you have agreed to CATAs terms and conditions and entered into a specific date contract. Your course is deemed as started on receipt of confirmation and course materials sent to you via your designated email.

Course date amendments can be requested in writing or email to CATA in advance of the course start date. Delegate’s that advise CATA that they wish to change date or they are not able to attend within 2 weeks of the course date will not be able to change date and will lose their space on the course, unless due to illness or force majeure and in these circumstances will be asked to provide evidence in the form of a doctors certificate, solicitors letter, proof of personal situation or travel difficulty etc.

If the date amendment is approved, as per above you will be transferred to another course date and an admin fee of £75 will be charged.

Payment plans must be completed/arranged 30 days before commencement of course.

It is the delegate’s responsibility, having referred to relevant sources of course information, to ensure that the course is suitable for their requirements. CATA will accept no liability in the event that the content of the course does not meet individual expectations.

Any pre-course reading documents or handouts received are the responsibility of the delegate, if these documents, including any certificates issued upon course completion, are lost, there will be a charge to have these replaced. If you require a replacement certificate, this will incur a charge of £25. If you lose any manual there will be a fee of £35 to replace.

It is the delegate’s responsibility to complete the pre-course learning materials prior to attending the course. Failure to complete all pre-course reading materials at least 3 days before the course may result in you not being able to attend the training course and losing the total amount paid.  The pre-course reading is our assessment criteria that must be completed. Any additional course bookings will then be deemed as a new course therefore payment will be required in full. If a delegate books onto a course within the 3 day period pre-course reading materials, must be completed immediately. CATA will not issue any course certificates until after attending, completing and passing the course/s.

All delegates are covered by CATA insurance policy with Cosmetic Insure whilst training.

CATA reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a course due to any unforeseen circumstances. If the reschedule dates of the course are not convenient for the delegate, CATA will provide a refund to the delegate.

CATA reserve the right to alter the course venue / location.

CATA reserves the right to decline applications and give the Delegate the reason for this.

All delegates are required to prove their medical professional in advance of the course and provide the relevant documentations.  The delegate also must observe and abide by all the policies regarding health and safety and any other regulation set out by CATA.

Delegates will only be certified once CATA has assessed that they can deliver the aesthetic treatment safely. If a delegate does not meet the standards for certification, a further training session will be arranged at an additional cost.

On successful completion of the course, delegates will be required to obtain their own indemnity insurance against malpractice.  Details of insurance companies will be provided.

On CATA courses we use Face Mannikin (TM) and live models.  Models are charged at a discounted rate and will be informed of the cost prior to their deposit being taken.

The terms and conditions listed as above supersede all discussions, correspondence and representations made prior to the date of booking.

No course material, presentation slides or manuals may be re-used, given out or sold without prior permission from CATA.

Model T&Cs

There is a charge for each model of £150.  This covers the cost of the treatment.  CATA asks for a deposit prior to the course of £100.  The remainder of the fee will be payable on the day of the course in cash.  If the model cancels one week prior to course up until course day CATA will not refund the deposit.
